The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones

The City of Bones is a best-selling novel written by acclaimed author Cassandra Clare.
One night at a club, 15 year old Clarissa (Clary) Fray witnesses a murder by a mysterious boy named Jace Wayland whom nobody can see but her. The next day, after seeing Jace again, she comes to find her apartment ransacked and her mother disappeared.  At that moment, she finds a demon in her house and defeats it but is heavily injured. Before she passes out, Jace finds her and carries her away. Clary wakes up in a place called the Institute with a friend of Jace's looking at her. Her name was Isabelle Lightwood. During the next few days, Clary finds out that vampires, werewolves, faeries, mermaids, and demons are all true. She also finds out that she, along with Jace, Isabelle, and Isabelle's brother Alec, and her mother, are one of the many people called Shadowhunters. Clary is swept along in a journey to save the world that is both exciting and thrilling.

Harold Zwart has, in my opinion, excelled himself by making a movie about the City of Bones. The actors are Jamie Campbell Bower has Jace Wayland, Lily Collins as Clary Fray, Robert Sheehan as Simon Lewis, Kevin Zegers as Alec, Jemima West as Isabelle, Godfrey Gao as Magnus, Lena Headey as Jocelyn, and Jonathan Rhys Meyers as Valentine. The City of Bones movie is a must see movie for all of the Mortal Instruments fans.
